Oh Mandy… how maestro Barry Manilow worked his magic on Amanda Holden
Amanda Holden gives Barry Manilow a smacker on television yesterday
The This Morning host finished off an interview with Barry Manilow with the smacker.
The veteran American crooner had dazzled a swooning Miss Holden, 43, when he was a guest on the ITV show.
She was barely able to contain her excitement at meeting Manilow, who was promoting his new duet album.
She said: “This is so exciting for me, I might not be able to speak very well.”
Manilow, 71, replied: “Oh Amanda… well you either hate me or love me.”
“I adore you,” she replied.
Manilow then asked: “Do people call you Mandy, or is it Amanda?”
When she replied Mandy, the singer started to croon: “Oh Mandy, well you came and you gave without taking.”
Hearing one of Manilow’s most popular hits, Amanda placed herself right next to him as he serenaded her.
“I never get sick of singing that one,” Manilow said.
And clearly neither does… Mandy.
